Golden tickets, Askew's sweep, and more

“At first glance you may have thought PSL Karting had a new driver at the front in Senior Max, but it was just Oliver Askew wearing a plain black Bell helmet (His team boss accidentally left his race helmet in Europe). Askew may want to think about wearing the black helmet the rest of the season, as he has never looked stronger on the BirelArt. The Floridian swept the weekend and was really untouchable. His first laps were amazing to watch, he could pull out close to a second gap just on the opening lap. His two biggest contenders all weekend were Rinus Van Kalmthout (Koene USA/Tony Kart) and Christian Brooks (RPG/Tony Kart).”

In the final Askew once again pulled out a huge lead, but Van Kalmthout and Brooks were able to mount a charge and close the gap to a few tenths. Around lap ten Askew turned up the wick and pulled out a 2 second win over Van Kalmthout and Brooks. Jake Craig (RaceLab/Formula K) was able to move up to fourth after a difficult weekend followed by Gianfranco Mazzaferro (Tony Kart).
