National Indy Lights Champion & Racing Sensation - Get to Know Oliver Askew
As the 2019 Indy Lights champion and a seasoned competitor in prestigious racing series such as IndyCar, Formula E, and IMSA, Oliver has proven himself as a force to be reckoned with on the track.
Racing didn’t run in the family, but it turned into a passion for Askew from an early age. His father, Tony Askew, an FAA Air Traffic Controller, took him to Palm Beach International Raceway near Jupiter, Florida for his 8th birthday. Karting and racing soon became a father-son hobby, & the rest is history.
“Racing left me in a spot where I had no plan B. But I think that’s ultimately how I was able to get here as a professional driver. I had to work so hard to make it happen… Looking back I wouldn't change it.”
